CONDUCT & COMPENSATION AGREEMENTS

The team at Creevey Horrell Lawyers have been successfully negotiating and litigating Conduct and Compensation Agreements on behalf of landholders for well over a decade.

The process usually begins with a resource company approaching a landholder with what they deem to be a standard Conduct and Compensation Agreement. They may even claim that it protects your rights under the applicable Laws. It is important that you, as a landholder, do not sign this agreement without first seeking legal advice.

Such an agreement will be registered on the title to your property, binding both you and any future owners for up to 30 years.

The Agribusiness Team at Creevey Horrell Lawyers can assist with negotiating terms of your Conduct and Compensation Agreement which protect your land, business and lifestyle. If you need clarification regarding your rights or assistance in negotiating a Conduct and Compensation Agreement, please contact our Agribusiness Team.
